The American Health Lawyer’s Association (AHLA) is the nation’s largest nonpartisan educational health care organization devoted to legal issues. Headquartered in Washington, DC; the association now has over 14,000 members and provides a number of educational opportunities for it’s members throughout the year, including; ePrograms, webinars, in-person conferences, corporate roundtable discussions and continuing legal education (CLE) programs.
As our longest tenured client, we had the opportunity to get involved in a variety of projects and initiatives from membership growth to event marketing and campaign management. We were able to increase the organization’s membership by 10% by improving the current member loyalty engagement and improving existing direct marketing strategies. During that same span of time, we improved the association’s retention rate by 2% by building stakeholder relationships and constructing value propositions and return on investment (ROI) summaries for members to review prior to membership lapse.
Light Me Up Campaign
As a testament to the quality level of work we were awarded several design awards, including; two 2014 American In-house Design Awards; a 2014 Association Media and Publishing Excel Award; and two 2014 Health + Wellness Design Awards.
In addition to these efforts, members of our team managed several of the organization’s integrated marketing campaigns, built to increase member engagement at events and drive product trial and purchase. We also contributed to a plethora of the association’s social media content, while also leveraging the channel for engage with other external audiences, prospective members and similar organizations to under effective strategies for collaboration.
